We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals to support the development of support workers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring residents receive tailored support.
  • Take an active role in promoting the services offered, engaging with relatives, prospective residents, and other stakeholders.
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a senior support worker role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Good understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and medication administration.
