About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensing Officer to join our team at South Gloucestershire Council. As a key member of our Licensing Team, you will play a vital role in shaping and improving our licensing service to ensure we provide a consistent and effective service across the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to a wide range of service users, including council colleagues, local businesses, and members of the community.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work collaboratively with the Licensing Team to develop and implement policies and procedures that meet the needs of our community.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.
