The Licensing Team is responsible for managing the council's licensing service, covering a wide range of licensing functions throughout the local community, including alcohol licenses, gambling premises, and the licensing of taxi and private hire drivers and vehicles.
You will provide advice to a wide range of service users, including council colleagues, local businesses, and members of the community, ensuring strong relationships are established and maintained.
Occasionally, you will work within the local community outside of office hours.
