We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English, Maths and Science tutor to join our team as a Personalised Learning Support specialist. As a Personalised Learning Support specialist, you will work closely with students aged 7-16, delivering one-to-one tuition packages and creating tailored lesson plans to meet their individual needs.

About the Job

This is a part-time (15 hours per week) contract position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be working with students who are currently without a school placement, providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed academically and personally. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working with vulnerable learners and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, we offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Duties
  • Delivering high-quality tuition packages to students aged 7-16
  • Creating and implementing tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adapting teaching approaches as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and improve overall quality of provision
Qualifications and Experience
  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to think creatively and work outside the box
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
