Job Title: Domestic Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and maintenance services across our clinical and non-clinical areas. This will include general cleaning, deep cleaning, and equipment maintenance. You will work closely with our ward staff and other teams to ensure that our facilities are always clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • High dusting of walls, ceilings, curtains rails, and doors
  • Damp dusting of furniture, fittings, ledges, and paintwork
  • Vacuuming floors daily
  • Deep cleaning of areas and equipment
Requirements:
  • Good general education at GCSE level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of manual handling and health and safety regulations
