Shropshire New Build Residential Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead our new build residential projects in Telford and Shrewsbury.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential house building, particularly with timber frame constructions and phased builds. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Construction Schedule Development: Create and implement construction schedules to meet project deadlines.
  2. Material and Resource Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of materials and resources to meet project demands.
  3. Risk Assessment and Compliance: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Staff and Subcontractor Management: Manage directly employed staff and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality workmanship during the build phase.
  6. Regular Progress Meetings: Attend regular meetings with clients to provide updates on project progress.
  7. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with Assistant Site Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Contracts Manager to achieve project goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. A background in residential / house building.
  2. Extensive experience in timber frame house building, particularly with phased builds.
