The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualized support to students, promoting their educational and personal development while fostering positive relationships.

  2. Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver engaging and challenging educational activities.">
  3. Assist with care needs and behaviour management, adapting your approach to meet individual student requirements.">
  4. Promote independence and personal growth among pupils while maintaining high expectations for behaviour.">
  5. Encourage students to take ownership of their learning and develop essential life skills.">
  6. Show flexibility in assisting with various tasks as needed within our dynamic SEN environment.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, either paid or voluntary.">
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).">
  • GCSEs in Maths and English at Level 3 or above (essential).">
  • A recognized qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent (desirable).">
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.">
  • The ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.">
  • A positive and creative approach to meeting individual student needs.">
  • A commitment to putting student needs first and treating each pupil as an individual.">

Salary:

£11.78 per hour, depending on experience.
