Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide additional support to our pupils in a classroom setting. As a proactive individual with a strong passion for education, you will build strong relationships with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that our pupils receive the best possible education. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues, and have a commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent UK Educational qualification is essential
  • Previous experience working with SEN students would be desirable
  • Previous experience working in education is essential
  • A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
