Teaching Assistant Position Available in Local Schools

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People, working in the Kings Heath area. The successful candidate will support students with individualized needs, promoting their self-confidence and independence.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities, adapting teaching strategies to meet student needs.
  2. Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, ensuring clear communication channels and a nurturing learning environment.
  3. Support students' academic, social, and emotional development, upholding the values and policies of our partner schools.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. A Level 2/3 qualification in Teaching or Childcare (or equivalent).
  2. Strong communication and empathy skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  3. Patience, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing student needs.
  4. Knowledge of teaching methodologies and relevant resources.

Estimated Salary and Benefits:

An estimated salary of £25,500 per annum, reflecting the requirements and location of the role, with opportunities for professional growth and development within our team.
