Care Lead - Full Time

The Pilgrims' Friend Society is seeking a compassionate and committed Care Lead to join our dynamic Care Team in our state-of-the-art care home. This vital role is crucial in promoting the health and well-being of our residents on a personal level.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental needs are met.
  • Supervise staff, taking responsibility for Health, Safety, and Security, and administering medications as needed.
  • Support residents with personal cleanliness, eating, and drinking, as well as providing emotional reassurance.
  • Ensure residents' care plans are up-to-date and promote independence and community involvement.
  • Treat residents with dignity and respect, addressing their unique and diverse needs.
About You:
  • Empathetic and experienced in working with older people.
  • Preferably holding an NVQ or QCF accreditation in Health and Social Care at level 3 or above.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care.
  • Ability to lead shifts and take a hands-on approach as required.
