Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple Children's Homes, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring high-quality care is delivered to create a safe, nurturing environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and supervising Registered Managers across homes to maintain operational standards and ensure quality care.
  • Serving as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, guaranteeing the safety and well-being of both children and staff members.
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance, striving for a minimum 'Good' Ofsted rating across all homes.
  • Monitoring staffing levels, resources, and training to support a capable and well-supported team.
  • Contributing to care planning and evaluating outcomes to promote each child's development.
  • Conducting regular quality checks, including audits, to ensure consistent care and documentation standards.
  • Fostering strong relationships with children and staff through regular visits to each home, promoting a supportive community.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in Residential Children's Social Care.
  • In-depth understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and therapeutic practices.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Track record of achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and enhanced DBS clearance.
