Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our care team at an NHS care home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.

You will also support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Your role will involve respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents while creating an environment that is warm, welcoming and vibrant.

About Our Residents

Our residents require individualised care and support to enable us to deliver quality care and support. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities and support the clinical team in specific areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager
  • Supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews
About You

To join us as a Senior Care Assistant, you should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You will also need to have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.

We are looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.

Salary and Benefits
