Care Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Lead to join our team in a newly built, state-of-the-art care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their health and well-being on a personal level.

Our care home is rooted in the Christian faith, which expresses God's love through compassion and care. Our values and actions are guided by this faith, ensuring that the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-quality, professional service of care to our residents.
  • Supervise all staff on the care team during your period of duty.
  • Help residents with personal cleanliness and support them to eat and drink.
  • Get to know residents to comfort, assist, and give reassurance when needed.
  • Ensure residents' care plans are up-to-date.
  • Support residents to maintain independence and encourage them to participate in community activities.
  • Treat residents with dignity and respect, acknowledging their unique and diverse needs.
  • Assist in end-of-life care.
About You:
  • You should have a genuine interest in working with older people and be empathetic towards their needs.
  • Preferably, you will have an NVQ or QCF accreditation in Health and Social Care at level 3 or above.
  • You should have experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care (minimum 3 years).
  • You must be willing to lead shifts and take a hands-on role as required.
  • You should be able to work effectively in a team and be willing to take on any task to provide excellent care to our residents.
Working Hours:

30-39 hours per week, with bank shifts available to ensure cover in cases of absence, sickness, relief, and holidays.
