Role Overview

iPeople Solutions is currently recruiting for a Senior Welfare Officer to join our team in Southwark. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education support services to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing targeted education inclusion strategies to support children and young people in Southwark.
  2. Working closely with schools, families, and other stakeholders to prevent exclusion and promote attendance.
  3. Conducting thorough investigations into persistent non-attendance and developing plans to support children.
  4. Providing expert advice and consultation to schools and Family Early Help practitioners.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Education Welfare Officer.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
