Company Overview: Hatched Recruitment Group is a leading recruitment agency specializing in education and social care. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Education Welfare Officer to join our team.

Salary: £27 per hour (equivalent to £43,040 per annum based on 36 hours per week). This salary reflects the level of expertise and qualifications required for this role.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to provide an effective education inclusion service in a specialist team within Southwark's Family Early Help service. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in partnership with parents, young people, and schools to ensure that all children of compulsory school age access education.

The ideal candidate will have excellent assessment, planning, and intervention skills, as well as experience of working with vulnerable families and young people. They will also have a strong understanding of the importance of promoting full-time attendance and preventing exclusion through educational achievement, positive behavior, and constructive activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, social work) and significant experience of working in education or social care. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
