The Wales Medicines Strategy Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their Liaison Psychiatry team.

Job Overview

This exciting opportunity involves working with the team at the Queens Medical Centre, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, providing specialist assessment and interventions for patients with significant mental health conditions.

You will be responsible for leading the High Volume service user team, working closely with the patient's diverse needs, carers, and other professionals. Your main duties include:

  1. To implement safe, creative, and effective treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
  2. To maintain accurate clinical records and monitor medication administration according to Trust policy.
Required Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working within a Liaison Psychiatry setting and must hold current registration with the NMC. You should also possess professional clinical qualifications and further specialist knowledge or post-registration experience to diploma/degree level.

A strong track record of leadership skills and qualities, emotional intelligence, and ability to provide clinical supervision and leadership are essential. The successful candidate will work within the values of Nottinghamshire Healthcare and demonstrate dignity and respect towards everyone they interact with.
