Salary: £39,419 - £56,949 per annum

About the Role

This Band 6 nursing role involves coordinating daily shifts, ensuring high standards of care, and challenging poor practice. You will also be responsible for rota planning to maintain a safe nurse-patient ratio per shift. Once appointed, you will deputise for the Band 7 nurse in their absence and be expected to take on the responsibilities of the Band 7 role.

Requirements
  • Current NMC registration is essential
  • At least 2 years' post-registration experience within surgery is required
  • Evidence of negotiation and influencing skills is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, deliver, prioritise, and evaluate patient care is essential
  • Flexible and adaptable with successful implementation and management of a nursing change process
