Job Overview
This role involves working closely with young people who have experienced trauma, family breakdowns, or are seeking asylum. You will be responsible for developing and delivering person-centred support plans that cater to their unique needs.
- You will work with each individual to identify their strengths, goals, and aspirations, and create a tailored plan to help them overcome barriers and achieve their objectives.
- This may include supporting them in budgeting, maintaining their accommodation, cooking, and other essential life skills.
- You will also provide guidance on making safe choices, managing mental and physical health, and engaging in education and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and deliver support plans that meet the specific needs of each individual.
- To provide guidance and support in areas such as budgeting, cooking, and maintenance of accommodation.
- To facilitate access to education and employment opportunities.
- To work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure comprehensive support.
