Job Summary

The Nelson Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Support Worker to join our team. As a Bank Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of women residents in our small residential safe space accommodation unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to women residents with complex needs, including substance misuse, emotional wellbeing, offending behaviours, and mental health needs.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the safety and security of the building and its residents.
  • Offer emotional support and guidance to women residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and services to provide a holistic approach to supporting women residents.

Requirements

  • Commitment to making a difference to women's lives and a passion for supporting women in a holistic, women-centred, trauma-informed way.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a sensitive environment.

Working Arrangements

This is a bank support worker role, which means you will work on an ad-hoc basis to cover shifts as needed. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
