Autism Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Autism Support Specialist to join our team in Grimsby and surrounding areas.
About the Role- Support children with additional needs, focusing on Autism, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, Dyslexia, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Work closely with children in classroom, small groups, and 1:1 settings.
- Implement and follow individualised support plans to aid children's progress and development.
- A relevant qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or TA course) is desirable.
- Experience in the care sector, childminding, or voluntary work in an educational setting is essential.
- Additional SEN Training certificates (such as MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach) can be beneficial.
- A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs is required.
- An estimated salary of £25,000-£30,000 per year.
- A range of roles in educational settings across Grimsby and surrounding areas.
- Competitive pay rates and a joining bonus*.
An enhanced DBS check and two years of references are necessary for this position.
