About the Role

The Deputy Hospital Director position at Gilbert Meher Ltd is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to lead and manage clinical teams in a specialist service for individuals with complex needs.

This permanent role involves deputising for the Hospital Director, providing strong leadership in the hospital environment, and overseeing budgetary responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, as well as experience working in a similar setting.

We are looking for a driven individual who can promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all service users, employees, and visitors. Key duties include ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, completing notifications and investigations, and overseeing site projects.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin
  • Background in learning disabilities and autism setting
  • Awareness of wider healthcare economy and political environment
  • Detailed understanding of statutory regulations
