We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team on nights. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role:
- Deliver hands-on care to residents in a person-centred way.
- Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
- Model best practice when delivering care.
- Assist residents in all aspects of their physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs in line with agreed care plans.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is essential.
- A valid Care Certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential setting.
