Fostering Plus Foster Carers Role Overview

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team of Specialist Foster Carers for children with additional needs. As a Foster Carer, you will provide 24-hour care and support to children with significant learning and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist fostering care for children with significant learning and physical disabilities
  • Work closely with a wide range of agencies, co-ordinated by the fostering service, to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in your care
  • Participate in a tailored training package to meet the individual needs of carers and young people in the foster home

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children or young people
  • Ability to provide 24-hour care and support to children with significant learning and physical disabilities
  • Flexibility to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances
