About the Role
Stockport Council is seeking foster carers to provide a nurturing environment for local children and young people aged 0-18 years. As a foster carer, you will be responsible for offering short, respite, or long-term fostering homes, caring for sibling groups, and providing specialist care to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and supportive home environment for children and young people
- Care for children with a wide range of needs, including those with complex needs and sibling groups
- Work collaboratively with the Stockport Council Fostering Team to ensure the needs of the child and foster carer are met
