About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fostering Recruitment and Events Officer to join our team at By the Bridge with Cambian. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely responses and home visits to potential fostering households.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all fostering enquiries received via various channels.
  • Conduct Initial Home Visits, including Health and Safety assessments.
  • Liaise with the National Recruitment Manager to identify potential recruitment events and source foster carers.
  • Attend and assist recruitment events.
  • Communicate regularly with the Fostering Assessment Manager regarding Initial Home Visits and Health and Safety.
  • Act as a liaison between fostering households and the assessment process.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Professionalism and good customer service skills.
  • Ability to process confidential information.
  • Competent use of MS Word and Excel.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
