About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to join our team at a vibrant and highly regarded special needs college in Stockport. As a SEND Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering a post-16 curriculum to students with Autism and complex needs. Our college places a strong emphasis on life skills and employability, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a post-16 curriculum to students with Autism and complex needs
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans
- Work closely with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements:
- Experience working within a SEND school or with children/young people with physical or learning disabilities
- Recognised UK teaching qualification
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
