About The Role

The Devil's Kitchen is a leading food manufacturing business specializing in plant-based and free-from products. We create food solutions for various industries, including education, healthcare, and hospitality. As a valued member of our team, you will be working directly on a production line or within a production area, leading small teams on the preparation, mixing, forming, packing, metal detection, or dispatch of our frozen food products.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, physical lifting and movement of ingredients, finished products, or equipment, weighing ingredients, or packing frozen product into outer cases. You will also be required to follow strict policies to ensure food quality and safety standards, health and safety standards, and cleaning production equipment and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment to meet production targets
  • Lift and move ingredients, finished products, or equipment as required
  • Weigh ingredients or pack frozen product into outer cases
  • Ensure food quality and safety standards are met
  • Clean production equipment and surrounding areas
  • Record control measurements and maintain written production records
  • Support the training and development of other team members

About You

We are looking for a resourceful and adaptable individual who is willing to change tasks as production requires. You should be able to carry out physical tasks that would reasonably be required and have prior experience or transferrable skills in operating food production equipment. Full training will be given where applicable.
