Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Team Member to join our team at Devil's Kitchen, a leading food manufacturing business specializing in vegan and free-from products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading small teams on the preparation, mixing, forming, packing, metal detection, or dispatch of our frozen food products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment efficiently and effectively to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Physically lift and move ingredients, finished products, or equipment as required to maintain a smooth production process.
  • Weigh ingredients or pack frozen product into outer cases with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure food quality and safety standards, as well as health and safety standards, are met at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Clean production equipment and surrounding areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Record control measurements and maintain written production records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the training and development of other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work in a temperature-controlled environment, and a frozen environment for short periods, while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Requirements

  • Be a resourceful and adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Be willing to change tasks as production requires, while maintaining a high level of flexibility.
  • Able to carry out physical tasks that would reasonably be required, while maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
  • Full training will be given where applicable, to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties effectively.
  • Prior experience or transferable skills in operating food production equipment would be an advantage, but not essential.
