Main Responsibilities:

As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients, handle queries, and maintain effective communication.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to clients, including standard and bespoke reports.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate balance clearance.
  • Service Charge Management: Manage monthly/quarterly tenant billing processes, create service charge variance analysis reports, and input service charge budgets.
  • VAT Compliance: Ensure accurate VAT reporting and compliance.
  • Client Meetings: Participate in client meetings and Teams calls to discuss financial matters and provide expert advice.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform ad-hoc adjustments to tenant billing, calculate utility recharges, and raise related demands.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare client funding requests and reconcile and close service charge accounts.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend and contribute to departmental team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
