About the Role:
Holland & Knight LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Accounts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Client Accounts department, you will play a critical role in resolving client non-payment issues and improving collection realization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate and interact with attorneys, assistants, and clients to resolve collection-related issues.
- Respond to collection requests quickly, effectively, and accurately.
- Manage assigned attorneys' inventory, monitoring and resolving aged invoices, credit balances, and aged unbilled work.
- Handle client outreach to resolve non-payment issues.
- Answer and manage daily collection inquiries from attorneys, assistants, and staff.
- Assist with the training of new hires in conjunction with the Client Accounts Coordinators, Client Accounts Manager, and Financial Applications Trainer.
- Communicate and report to leadership on delinquent collections and at-risk inventory.
- Participate in collaboration sessions for process improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of work experience in a professional environment or 2-3 years of experience as a Client Accounts Specialist.
- Self-motivated and possess a high level of professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and cooperatively with peers and management.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use good judgment.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Proficient knowledge of accounting functions.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but may be substituted for relevant work experience.
