An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Recovery Support Specialist to work within the Caithness Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service team based in Thurso.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred care to individuals who use drugs and alcohol under the supervision of a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse.
  • Carry out agreed programmes of care to support recovery, as well as assertively outreaching people at risk of harm.

A driving licence is essential for this post, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.

This is a full-time post with 37 hours worked in line with service requirements.

Requirements:
  • No eligibility for Skilled Worker visa or Health and Care Worker visa.
