Senior Sales Director for Commodities Growth

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sales Manager for Commodities, you will be responsible for driving business growth through the sale of commodities trading solutions to new and existing customers. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within a portfolio of new accounts, to generate sales of products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sell commodities trading solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Meet/exceed annual targets for license and consulting services.
  • Manage the business relationship between ION and clients to achieve new sales and services revenue goals and book the clients' current Annual Contract Value (ACV).
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including creation of commercial proposals and supporting documentation through liaising with other departments such as Professional Services and Corporate Sales.
  • Ensure client satisfaction is achieved and client gets optimum value from the product.
  • Responsible for assisting in accuracy of invoicing and debt collection in conjunction with the sales support organization.
  • Coordinate members of the opportunity team for a particular deal which include product specialists, RFX, pre-sales consultants and other SME's.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hunter / Relationship building mentality – developing existing and cultivating new relationships within the Accounts, identifying and closing opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and both written/verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong client facing/executive presence/influencing capability.
  • Desire to work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous sales experience, new business development experience within commodities trade and risk management arena.
