Accounts Support Specialist

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12-month temporary basis.
The successful candidate will provide support for purchase ledger and sales ledger, focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
A minimum of 18 months' experience in finance is required, with expertise in both purchase and sales ledger tasks, particularly purchase ledger.
Candidates must be immediately available or able to start on short notice due to the temporary nature of this role.
Main Tasks:- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Manage the shared finance inbox and respond to finance-related queries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and post incoming cash to the finance system.
- Collaborate with the credit control team to handle outstanding invoices.
- Provide additional finance support as required.
- Proven finance experience, preferably with 18 months' experience in both purchase and sales ledger.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
- Ability to start immediately or within a short timeframe.
- A flexible working arrangement with three days of office attendance per week.
- Access to on-site parking.
- A chance to gain experience and potentially progress to a more senior role after this temporary assignment.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per year.
