Delivery Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our award-winning construction clients team at Thorn Baker Construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development activities within the construction sector and exceptional relationship management and networking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presenting to potential clients and consultants through direct communication, in face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails
  • Reporting on Business Development activities to the management board
  • Negotiating Terms of business with clients
  • Leading Generation
  • Representing the company at industry events and trade shows
  • Managing a pipeline of opportunities ensuring that all deadlines are met, and that information presented meets the company standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Delivery Manager role conducting business development activities within the construction sector
  • Exceptional relationship management and networking abilities coupled with a genuine passion for the sector
  • Strong communication skills in all forms
  • Driving licence
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good understanding of the construction industry
