Job Title: Construction Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Business Development Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker Construction. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across North England and Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present to potential clients and consultants through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails to promote our services and generate new business opportunities.
  • Report on business development activities to the management board, providing regular updates on progress and performance.
  • Negotiate terms of business with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Lead generation through proactive networking and relationship-building within the construction industry.
  • Represent Thorn Baker Construction at industry events and trade shows to promote our brand and services.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities to ensure timely delivery and presentation of high-quality information to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a business development role within the construction sector.
  • Exceptional relationship management and networking skills, with a genuine passion for the construction industry.
  • Strong communication skills in all forms, including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Good understanding of the construction industry and its dynamics.
