Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anaesthetic support within a theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after anaesthetic procedures.
  • Assisting anaesthetists in the delivery of general, regional, and local anaesthesia.
  • Monitoring patients during surgery and responding promptly to any changes in their condition.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Contributing to the development of best practices and participating in continuous professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse (RN) with anaesthetic qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC or NMC.
  • Proven experience in anaesthetic support within a theatre environment.
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills.
  • A patient-centred approach with a commitment to high standards of care.
