Henmarth Limited is seeking a highly skilled Lead Residential Care Practitioner to join their team in Gloucester.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, as well as experience working with children and young people who have learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

You will be responsible for supervising staff, developing working practices, and contributing to individual care and intervention plans. You will also take an active role in promoting a culture that puts children at the centre of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure the provision of a safe and stimulating environment for our residents.
  • To lead and actively participate in the planning and delivery of opportunities for educational, recreational, and vocational development.
  • To provide support and training to all care practitioners and assistant care practitioners.
  • To address challenging behavioural needs presented by our residents.
  • To oversee, supervise, and be involved in key working and case management of children and young people.
  • To take an active role in risk assessment and risk management.

As a Lead Residential Care Practitioner, you can expect to earn a salary of approximately £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
