NES Fircroft, a leading provider of workforce solutions for the energy industry, is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join our Workshop team in Aberdeenshire.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of repair, overhaul, and assembly on a variety of drilling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Experience with fluid power systems and pressure testing (gas and fluid based) is essential.

A competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum is available for this role, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3/HNC or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • Good working knowledge of fluid power systems
  • Experience in pressure testing (gas and fluid based)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to read schematic and layout drawings
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and oral)
