Job Title: UK Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled UK Operations Director to join our team at Orbia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our UK manufacturing facilities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, environment, quality, and security (SHEQ&S).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the UK operations team, ensuring the delivery of business objectives and the implementation of company-wide initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and control budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering business results.
  • Extensive experience working in the chemical/petrochemical/pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of SHEQ&S principles and practices.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
