Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled UK Operations Director to join our team at Koura. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our UK manufacturing facilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while maintaining a strong focus on safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the UK operations team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the UK manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Implement and maintain effective processes and systems to ensure high-quality products, on-time delivery, and cost control.
  • Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)
    • Develop and implement SHE strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, minimizing the risk of accidents and environmental incidents.
    • Monitor and report on SHE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, implementing changes to drive business growth and profitability.
  • People Management
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure the growth and development of employees.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment.
    • Proven track record of delivering business growth, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
