Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Business Partnership: Safeguard the integrity of financial data, ensuring all financial reports are reliable and precise. Lead the development and presentation of local financial reports, driving enhancements in financial performance indicators with the assistance of business controllers.
- Performance Oversight: Lead initiatives to align processes and improve efficiencies at the local site. Refine the closing process to enhance accuracy and timeliness, ensuring optimal estimates and minimizing unexpected outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance and Internal Controls: Uphold stringent compliance standards, oversee the control framework, and guarantee the accuracy of local statutory submissions. Provide expert guidance on intricate compliance and taxation issues.
- Foreign Exchange and Commodity Risk Management: Partner with Group Treasury to execute, monitor, forecast, and report on financial risks related to foreign exchange and commodities.
- Innovative Practices: Be at the forefront of fostering interactions and enhancements within the business unit. Assist in the implementation of new ERP systems and the transition to a shared service center following migration.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accounting professional (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) who possesses:
