Job Title: UK Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled UK Operations Director to join our team at Orbia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our UK manufacturing sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while maintaining a strong focus on safety, health, and environmental (SHEQ&S) standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the UK operations team, ensuring the effective implementation of business strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of operational plans, budgets, and policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the maintenance of high-quality products, adhering to cGMP pharma and COMAH operating standards.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with high-hazard chemical operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Extensive experience working in the chemical/petrochemical/pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of cGMP pharma and COMAH operating standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with high-hazard chemical operations.
