Key Account Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Account Manager to join our team at Puratos. As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the UK Distributor strategy, driving profitable sales growth, and building strong long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L ownership and accountability for delivering budgeted growth across all business sectors
  • Develop, lead, and execute the UK Distributors strategy fully aligned with key stakeholders in the global distributor channel team
  • Create and implement commercially sound pricing and promotional plans across distributor markets
  • Maintain a defensible pricing strategy in market
  • Develop strong strategic relationships within customers at all levels
  • Create strong, long-term customer partnerships
  • Define and implement Joint Business Plans (JBP) with strategically focused key customers
  • Manage forecast accuracy and S&OP
  • Work closely with key customer service personnel
  • Ensure proactive management and collaboration with relevant Business Units
  • Project manage new product launches
  • Be a consultative point of contact for customers on product use
  • Manage customer pricing
  • Ensure shared accountability for product within the full supply chain
  • Monitor results and implement corrective action
  • Project leadership for critical business activities
  • Timely and accurate use of day-to-day systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience managing customer portfolios
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proven commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of Forecasting (S&OP), Demand Planning, Budget Setting, Margin Management, and Customer Relationship Tools
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
  • Ability to understand customer needs and future direction
  • Ideal experience working with SAP or similar
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
