Key Account Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Account Manager to join our team at Puratos. As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the UK Distributor strategy, driving profitable sales growth, and building strong long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L ownership and accountability for delivering budgeted growth across all business sectors
- Develop, lead, and execute the UK Distributors strategy fully aligned with key stakeholders in the global distributor channel team
- Create and implement commercially sound pricing and promotional plans across distributor markets
- Maintain a defensible pricing strategy in market
- Develop strong strategic relationships within customers at all levels
- Create strong, long-term customer partnerships
- Define and implement Joint Business Plans (JBP) with strategically focused key customers
- Manage forecast accuracy and S&OP
- Work closely with key customer service personnel
- Ensure proactive management and collaboration with relevant Business Units
- Project manage new product launches
- Be a consultative point of contact for customers on product use
- Manage customer pricing
- Ensure shared accountability for product within the full supply chain
- Monitor results and implement corrective action
- Project leadership for critical business activities
- Timely and accurate use of day-to-day systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years commercial experience managing customer portfolios
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven commercial acumen
- Knowledge of Forecasting (S&OP), Demand Planning, Budget Setting, Margin Management, and Customer Relationship Tools
- Proficient in spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
- Ability to understand customer needs and future direction
- Ideal experience working with SAP or similar
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
