Senior Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Professional to join our team as a Key Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a household name and contribute to their continued growth and success.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a patch of key accounts in the South, working closely with internal sales and other back office functions to deliver support to key customers and develop sales further within your customer base.
You will need to have experience of 'in the room' face-to-face sales and be a great negotiator when finalising commercial proposals. You will also be responsible for creating and being accountable for all client proposals, contracts, quotes, and any further documentation.
The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about sales and business development, has a proven track record of managing large accounts to grow their spend, and is focused on delivering excellent customer service.
Key Account Manager – Roles and Responsibilities- Deliver quarter by quarter sales & margin growth in line with agreed targets for the assigned group of circa 60 key accounts.
- Identify key competitor account opportunities and formulate plans to deliver and convert significant wins, ensuring maximum profitability from the right product and services mix.
- Responsible for all commercial elements of the owned accounts through business analysis and business planning.
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, quotes, and any further documentation, with support from Operations, Legal, and Finance teams, following internal procedure.
- Collaborate with assigned internal outbound sales agents that are assigned to your key accounts to ensure efficiency and support to the assigned account base.
- Previous experience with Key Account Management.
- Understanding of P&L, profitable sales, and margin implications of particular sales and discounting policies.
- Skilled negotiator of significant agreements with strong commercial acumen and numeracy.
- Analytical experience and ability to interpret financial and sales data and results.
- Clean driving license.
