About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Accommodation Team at B&Q. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and motivating a team of colleagues to achieve excellent customer service and sales results
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve team performance and productivity
  • Providing coaching and guidance to colleagues to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Managing resources and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all colleagues and customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
