Exciting Career Opportunity: Service Charge Accountant at Pinnacle Property Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at Pinnacle Property Management, a renowned Residential Leasehold Property Management company. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of client accounting operations for leasehold properties, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client accounting operations, including preparing and presenting service charge budgets, financial reports, and client accounts.
  • Collaborate with property managers and finance teams to resolve client accounting queries and discrepancies.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collection of service charges, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact for accounting-related matters.
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard client funds and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate audits with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and lease agreements.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Significant experience in client accounting, ideally within property management or real estate sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of service charge budgets, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a client accounting team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and providing excellent client service.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, monitor performance, and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
