Job Opportunity

A challenging role has arisen in the Risk, Assurance and Compliance Team at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient operation of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions.
  • Collaborate with Managers to support the use of compliance, assurance, and risk management processes throughout the Trust.
  • Work across both the risk management, assurance and compliance functions, planning and organizing processes to ensure the Trust manages its responsibilities effectively.
  • Develop and lead the preparation of compliance and risk management reports/briefings for internal and external meetings, presenting these in person if required.
  • Regularly review and analyze a range of qualitative and quantitative data, some of which will be complex.

Education and Qualifications

Essential
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent specialist knowledge through experience.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Desirable
  • Risk management qualification.
Previous Experience (Paid/Unpaid Relevant to Job)

Essential
  • Significant and highly relevant administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience of complex database management.
  • Significant experience of writing management reports.
Desirable
  • Experience of working in a governance or risk management environment.
