Compliance and Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Regulatory Risk Consultant to join our Risk, Assurance and Compliance Team at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient running of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient running of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions.
* Work with Managers to support the use of compliance, assurance, and risk management processes throughout the Trust.
* Work across both the risk management, assurance and compliance functions, planning and organizing processes to ensure the Trust manages its responsibilities effectively.
* Develop and lead the preparation of compliance and risk management reports/briefings for internal and external meetings, presenting these in person if required.
* Review and interrogate a range of qualitative and quantitative data regularly, some of which will be complex.

* Education and Qualifications
* Essential
* Educated to a degree level or equivalent specialist knowledge through experience.
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
* Desirable
* Risk management qualification.
* Previous Experience (Paid/Unpaid Relevant to Job)
* Essential
* Significant and highly relevant administrative experience in a busy office environment.
* Experience of complex database management.
* Significant experience of writing management reports.
* Desirable
* Experience of working in a governance or risk management environment.
