Compliance and Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Risk, Assurance and Compliance Team. This role will play a critical part in coordinating and supporting the delivery of effective Risk and Compliance practice across the Trust.
The successful candidate will lead the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient running of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions. They will work closely with Managers to support the use of compliance, assurance, and risk management processes throughout the Trust.
The ideal candidate will have significant and highly relevant administrative experience in a busy office environment, with experience of complex database management, writing management reports, and producing and delivering training programmes. They will also have experience of working in a governance or risk management environment and in the public sector.

Main Responsibilities- Lead the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient running of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions.
- Work with Managers to support the use of compliance, assurance, and risk management processes throughout the Trust.
- Coordinate various meetings, leading the administration for these meetings including taking high level, accurate and comprehensive minutes, agreeing agendas with the Chair, preparing papers, and maintaining the Action Point Registers ensuring actions are progressed by members of staff in a timely manner.
- Develop and lead the preparation of compliance and risk management reports/briefings for internal and external meetings, presenting these in person if required.
- Review and interrogate a range of qualitative and quantitative data, some of which will be complex.
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent specialist knowledge through experience.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Risk management qualification.
- A standard working week of 37.5 hours.
