About the Role

This Band 5 position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team at Kendal Urgent Treatment Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to patients with minor injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and manage patients with minor injuries and illnesses
  • To develop and implement individualised care plans
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

The successful candidate will have experience in minor injuries or ED and be able to work within a fast-paced environment. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to mentor/teach junior staff.

Working Conditions

The Urgent Treatment Centre is a busy and dynamic environment, with patients presenting with a wide range of conditions. The successful candidate will need to be able to think critically and make sound decisions in a pressurised situation.

Benefits and Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000 - £34,500 per annum, depending on experience. The post offers a range of benefits, including the opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focussed team and access to training and development opportunities.
